Laparoscopic Surgery

This surgery provides the scope for minimum surgical incision and maximum health benefit

Urologic surgical procedures usually require large incisions with lengthy hospitalization and recovery many years ago. With the technological advancement, laparoscopic or minimally invasive or keyhole surgery has been developed in the field of urologic surgery. In this surgery, it is enough if the surgeon makes 3-5 small incisions to perform this surgery for a variety of urologic diseases and problems.

The advantages over the traditional surgery are reduced postoperative pain, shorter hospitalization periods, and quick recovery.
We can do this surgery to benign as well as malignant urologic problems. Furthermore this has also been applied to medical conditions of kidney, adrenal gland, ureter, bladder, prostate and lymph nodes.

One point worth mentioning here of minimally invasive surgery or laparoscopy is kidney removal due to cancer. The entire kidney may be removed using three puncture holes. But unfortunately this may not be an appropriate option to every patient. Consultation will be given those who are interested in undergoing this surgery.
